Job description: DONOR CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONAL/ NON PROFIT -PART TIME -CONTRACT REMOTE

At this time this is a PART TIME CONTRACT REMOTE position and could develop into Full Time based upon Fundraising success. The scheduling of work hours is flexible.

The compensation is an Hourly rate without benefits. The organization is located in the Maryland area commutable to Baltimore and Washington DC. Ideally the Donor Campaign Fundraising Professional will reside within a commutable distance to this area and could attend some local fundraising events if needed

OVERVIEW

This Non Profit organization is seeking a strong Donor Campaign Fundraising professional who will be responsible for a wide range of fund development and marketing activities which will include identifying and managing opportunities for grant proposals, grant applications, corporate gifts, and special events as well as daily activities focused on identification, cultivation, solicitation, growth, and stewardship of donor relationships. This position will report directly to the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• At least 3 to 5 years of proven track record in grant writing, donor solicitations and/or sales and is comfortable making cold calls and setting up appointments.
• A proven track record of successful grant/gift solicitation for NON PROFITS, charities, and other mental health organizations, with evidence of substantial fundraising accomplishments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with great follow-skills.
