The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is seeking an experienced consultant to drive its growth and development efforts. This role requires someone who can develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive measurable results.

The consultant will work closely with the Executive Chair of the Board of Directors and the Executive Team to lead the execution of the growth efforts outlined in the organization's strategic plan.

This is a two-year contract, renewable based on performance review.

Scope of Work

The consultant will focus on the following key areas:

1. Revenue Growth and Diversification

• Develop and execute a revenue strategy to optimize core revenue streams and diversify revenue streams.
• Identify and secure corporate sponsorships, private sector partnerships, and new funding sources.

2. Capacity Building and Training

• Develop and implement a structured training program for related teams to enhance in-house expertise.
• Mentor and coach related staff to equip them with the skills needed for long-term sustainability.

3. Public Relations and Strategic Communications

• Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy to ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders.
• Secure local, national, and international media coverage in top-tier outlets.
