Social Worker

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Social Worker, Counsellor, or Psychologist with a strong background in working with Indigenous communities. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, cultural humility, and a deep understanding of the intergenerational impacts of trauma, colonization, and systemic inequity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to Indigenous clients, particularly youth and families, using trauma-informed and culturally grounded approaches
• Facilitate community-based healing workshops and outreach programs
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and cultural leaders to ensure holistic and community-centered support
• Maintain confidential, accurate documentation and case notes in accordance with professional standards
• Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Advocate for culturally relevant mental health services and supports
