The Program Specialist will play a key role in planning, implementing, executing and evaluating Raymond James Ltd.’s employee‑led granting, donation matching, volunteering and other signature programs.

This is a permanent, full‑time position operating out of the Raymond James Ltd. downtown Vancouver (preferred) or Toronto office, with a hybrid workstyle of weekly in‑office and remote work as required.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Manager on planning, implementing, executing and evaluating Raymond James Ltd.’s national employee giving initiatives, including granting, donation matching, volunteering, fundraising and other RJCF signature programs;
- Responsible for processing, distributing, and tracking outgoing grants and gift letters, stale dated cheques follow up and maintaining up to date records for all RJCF employee giving programs (i.e. Annual Giving Campaign, Disaster Relief, RJ Cares grants, Advisory Committee grants, RJ Memorial Fund, RJ 5K 4 Kids and other ad hoc giving campaigns (e.g. National Inclusion Council Employee Resource Group (ERGs) donations & grants, etc.));
- Conduct program metrics, prepare regular reports and translate data into valuable insights on participation, impact, and outcomes, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities that lead to business decisions, reduced costs, improved operational efficiencies and program improvement;
- Engage and effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Advisory Committee, Board of Directors, other RJCF ad hoc groups, Branch Managers and other senior leadership;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments and at all levels of the organization;
- Identify, build and effectively maintain relationships with charity partners and community organizations to create meaningful volunteer and donation opportunities;
- Develop communications, coordinate logistics and create event registration pages for both in person and virtual events;
- Prepare internal communications to promote giving campaigns and volunteer opportunities, including RJNET posts, emails, and newsletter content;
- Contribute to the development of a social media plan and liaise with Corporate Communications to execute it externally, including news stories, and Linked In posts;
- Contribute to the planning, communications and execution of a corporate golf tournament, including logistics, sponsorship, registration, auction, fundraising, and all day‑of event operations;
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new social good technology projects as required, including stakeholder alignment, vendor selection, project planning, change management, and successful adoption;
- Liaise with Finance for grant issuing, donation processing, data tracking and other RJCF financial activities;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding giving and volunteering inquiries;
- Responsible for scheduling meetings and providing detailed meeting minutes for the RJCF’s Advisory Committee and other RJCF meetings as required;
- Responsible for reviewing and distributing charitable tax receipts as required;
- Fulfill other duties and projects as assigned
