Project Blue World Foundation provides management and administration, consulting and facilitation services for communities, companies, government or other entities local to Manitoba, Canada and internationally. We are a non profit dedicated to developing quality of life for people, developing communities, companies, project by project we faciliate and showcase sustainable success.
Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote role for a Charity Application & Grant Writer. The Charity Application & Grant Writer will be responsible for writing charity applications and grants within our fundraising team. The candidate will work closely with the Project Blue World team to identify funding opportunities, creating accurate applications, and managing the application process to secure necessary funding.
Qualifications
- Charity Application Writing, Grant Writing, and Proposal Writing skills
- Experienced in interpretation of Charity Law in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency requirements, knowledge of Non Profit Law and Province of Manitoba Non Profit Regulations.
- Experience in Prospect Research and identifying funding opportunities
- Fundraising skills and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and remote
Commitment
To start as soon as possible for one year or longer commitment, 4+ hours a week volunteer service.
Location of Volunteer Opportunity
Mostly remote via video and phone calls, emails and online meets. Some in person meets and participation at events may be required. Project Blue World is an online service provider, our executive are located in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, we have team members in Canada and around the world.
Pay
This is volunteer position, there is no financial compensation.
Organization will provide
Letters of service are provided for those seeking Reference, Personal Development or Community Service hours.
What to expect
