About the Project

Project GENESIS, led by Living Stones Foundation, is a nonprofit technology initiative that seeks to transform the freight and moving transportation sector in Latin America through digital innovation, data-driven solutions, and social impact.

The project’s goal is to build a community-based logistics platform that empowers independent drivers, local entrepreneurs, and vulnerable communities — promoting digital inclusion, environmental sustainability, and economic opportunity.

GÉNESIS integrates technology, design, and data analytics into a scalable model supported by international cooperation programs, green finance, and impact investment funds.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the project’s technical and creative silos — including Design, Development, and Data Analytics.

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure collaboration across teams, maintain agile workflows, and deliver a high-quality MVP (Minimum Viable Product) aligned with the project’s social and technological objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and execution of activities within the Design, Development, and Data Analytics teams.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple project silos.
  • Facilitate communication between UX/UI designers, software developers, and data analysts.
  • Oversee the development of the community logistics platform and mobile app, ensuring usability, functionality, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and track progress using project management tools.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and executive leadership to align technical development with strategic goals.
  • Monitor KPIs, user feedback, and data-driven metrics to guide continuous improvement.
  • Support documentation, quality assurance, and reporting for funders and partner institutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in technology, startups, or nonprofit innovation.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience managing or coordinating design (UI/UX), development, and data analytics teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and iterative product development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Spanisha and English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in mobile or web application development.
  • Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or analytics systems.
  • Interest in social innovation, sustainable logistics, or digital transformation.
  • Previous involvement with impact-driven tech projects or international volunteer programs.

Benefits

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in a global nonprofit technology project with real-world social impact.
  • Gain hands-on experience in project management for digital platforms and collaborative ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with talented professionals and volunteers from top universities in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
  • Receive an Official Certificate of Completion and a Personalized Letter of Recommendation from Living Stones Foundation upon successful completion.
  • Build professional leadership experience in tech-for-good and sustainable development environments.
