The Aga Khan Museum is a centre for arts, culture, and education, dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding and exchange. As a Development Officer, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission by building strong relationships with major gift donors, members, and supporters.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift donors, members, and supporters across various fundraising campaigns. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and the Development team to develop and implement donor engagement strategies and help build the Museum's pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of major gift donors, members, and supporters to meet or exceed annual fundraising goals;
- Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to build strong relationships and increase giving;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and initiatives;
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new fundraising opportunities and build a robust pipeline of potential donors;
- Collaborate with the Development team to ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field;
- Proven track record of success in major gifts fundraising;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives;
- Degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management.
