Our Culture Filled with Faith Moved by Compassion Connected in Collaboration Leading Thru Innovation Serving with Professionalism Job Description Reporting to the Interim Executive Director/Administrator of ICC Canada, this administrative assistant role is key to the organization running smoothly. You will have the opportunity to use your organizational skills and attention to detail to process donations from all across Canada, keep our database up-to-date and be involved in some aspects of event planning. Based in Burnaby, BC, this role is on site. It is a temporary and part-time position of 20-24 hours/week with the possibility of becoming permanent Education and Qualifications Post-secondary degree 2-3 years of relevant experience working in a non-profit Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail Key Responsibilities Oversight of donor database Mail merges and mailouts Donor assistance and correspondence Oversight of recurring donors Processing and reconciling donations Event planning Programs: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Fundrazr, Fundraise Up, Stripe (training can be provided if needed) Key Skills: Excellent organizational skills High attention to detail Good knowledge of charity law Good knowledge of Excel Good command of the English language (spoken and written) Good communicator Work well with people Bookkeeping knowledge an asset proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team Ability and willingness to learn new programs as needed.
