Non-Profit Sector Expert
Government of Alberta
In this role, you will be responsible for building the capacity of non-profit organizations and community leaders to support community development initiatives in the Government of Alberta. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement strategic partnerships and collaborations that meet the needs of clients and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customized capacity building programs for non-profit organizations and community groups
- Provide coaching and consultation services to non-profit organization leaders and staff
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement community development initiatives that meet client needs
- Use project management processes, methodologies, and tools to deliver high-quality results and meet client needs
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, community development, non-profit management) or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of experience in a related field (e.g. non-profit management, community development, program delivery)
- Fluency in both French and English
- Strong knowledge of non-profit sector trends and issues, particularly for Francophone non-profit organizations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
