TERM & COMMITMENT

This is a voluntary, unpaid board position with a 2-year term. While the position is currently non-remunerated, there may be opportunities for future paid engagement based on organizational growth and evolving needs. Any such changes would be subject to board review and approval.

ROLE

As a Board Member, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight to ensure the organization's mission is carried out effectively. Your role will involve attending board meetings, participating in decision-making processes, and engaging with stakeholders to advance the organization's goals.

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated commitment to women’s empowerment, community building, or social impact
  • Proven leadership experience in business, nonprofit, or community initiatives
  • Ability to make informed decisions, provide insights, contribute to high-level strategy, and support organizational growth
  • Strong communication skills, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable working with a diverse group of leaders in a purpose-driven environment
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience in nonprofit management or working with community organizations
  • Knowledge of fundraising, advocacy, or program development
  • Prior board, advisory, governance, or committee-level involvement (voluntary or professional)
  • Passion for advocacy and long-term women's empowerment
