ORGANIZATION
Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100%
volunteer-led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community
impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting.
Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each
round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need
of pro bono consulting.
Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects, delivering more
than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada.
Endeavour’s partnerships with leading corporations in Canada offer pro bono and skills-based
volunteering opportunities that contribute to employee engagement, professional and leadership
development, talent retention and corporate responsibility goals.

ROLE
Join Our Senior Leadership Team as Vice-President of Evaluation!
The VP of Evaluation provides strategic leadership over Endeavour’s evaluation and insight functions,
shaping performance measurement, learning, and data-driven decision-making. This role champions a
culture of continuous improvement, enabling teams across the organization to understand their impact
and make evidence-informed decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic leadership
â— Set and lead the vision and priorities for the Evaluation team, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and mission.
â— Establish and uphold standards for evaluation quality, integrity, and usefulness.
â— Ensure that evaluation findings are translated into clear, actionable insights that support learning
and decision-making across teams.
Evaluation and insight generation
â— Oversee the design and execution of data collection efforts (e.g., surveys, interviews), ensuring
high-quality, relevant methodologies.
â— Supervise analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data to generate meaningful insights.
â— Enhance evaluation frameworks, tools, and systems for greater impact and scalability.
â— Guide the creation of clear and accessible dashboards, reports, and briefings for internal and
external stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration
â— Build strong relationships across teams (e.g., R&D, Consulting, Talent, Alumni, Learning &
Engagement) to support their evaluation needs.
â— Co-design tailored evaluation tools to support each team’s strategies
â— Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure internal insights meaningfully inform Endeavour’s
strategic plan and external-facing materials (e.g., annual report).
â— Share findings and insights with the Senior Leadership team and the Board, to inform
decision-making and demonstrate impact.
As Vice-President, you will also be responsible for general management and leadership functions,
including
â— Recruit, manage, and mentor direct reports within the division.
â— Develop annual goals and support performance evaluations.
â— Report divisional progress to the CEO and contribute to policy development.
â— Participate in regular leadership and cross-functional meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
â— Previous Endeavour volunteer experience is an asset
â— Familiarity with the non-profit sector preferred

â— Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including program evaluation, data analysis, or
impact measurement
â— Proven leadership experience managing teams.
â— Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
â— Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including survey design and evaluation
reporting.
â— Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling
insights that inform strategy and drive action.
â— Familiarity with digital tools for data collection and reporting and experience with evaluation
frameworks is an asset.
â— Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented and results-driven
