Strategic Fundraising Leader

AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter Senior Director, Philanthropy

We are seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to lead the development efforts of AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing major gifts and implementing effective fundraising strategies.

This leadership role will oversee the chapter's fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, planned giving, and annual giving programs. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Senior Director, Philanthropy will work collaboratively with the chapter's leadership team to advance the organization's strategic goals and objectives. This includes establishing partnerships with key stakeholders, developing and managing fundraising campaigns, and providing coaching and support to direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the chapter's mission and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key donors, volunteers, and stakeholders to cultivate and secure major gifts.
• Manage and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and activities to achieve revenue targets.
• Provide coaching and support to direct reports, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed in their roles.
• Attend chapter meetings, participate in committee work, and collaborate with other stakeholders to advance the organization's goals.
