The Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented, independent Bilingual (French/English) Paralegal or Law Clerk to join our growing team. You’ll be a key contact for our francophone clients, supporting lawyers in the exciting world of charity law, and helping organizations get registered, stay compliant, and keep doing their important work.

What You'll Actually Do

Draft and file articles of incorporation (both federal and provincial).
Prepare and file applications for charitable registration (T3010).
Manage and maintain corporate minute books and compliance filings for clients.
Communicate directly with clients in French and English to gather information and provide status updates.
Conduct research on compliance questions for non-profits.

Compensation: A Per-File Model That Pays This is a 100% per-file role, not a salaried 9-to-5. You are compensated for each file you complete, giving you direct control over your income and schedule.

We provide a steady and growing file load. Based on the expected volume, our paralegals can realistically build to an income of $8,000 per month within the first 3 months.

You’d Be a Great Fit If You

Communicate fluently and professionally in both French and English (written and verbal).
Have a Paralegal or Law Clerk diploma or relevant experience.
Have 3+ years' experience preparing and reviewing legal documents (incorporations, registrations, compliance filings, etc.).
Thrive in a digital-first environment. You are tech-savvy and comfortable mastering our tech stack (practice management software, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, etc.).
Are highly organized and can manage multiple files independently.
Experience with the Quebec legal system is a major asset (e.g., familiarity with the Code civil du Québec and provincial incorporation).
Care about doing meaningful work that supports positive community impact.
